Holidays and Work…ugh
well, happy holidays as I said it past posting. I am still slowly working on projects
In pieces the following:
1. Godot Engine: the biggest one I’m working on. I’m learning the language
Of the engine and how it works. It’s very easy to compile items and objects
How the interaction of the work super cool. Coding a bit harder but I’ve played
Around with a few tutorials and they’ve really helped.
2. Monster Creations: I’m adding more ideas or concepts I should say. At this
Time at trying not to show off too many. Why? It’s a monster collector game right?
Correct. But I like a mystery behind it. Plus I want to show off a complete monster.
3. Storyline: probably the biggest part I get most time with we’re sitting on 40% completion.
There’s a beginning, middle and end of the game as stated before. Now it’s just filling in what
Is in between that. Several towns, caves, a few secret areas. Keep in mind I’m trying to make
Maps that are repeatable or back tractable. I don’t want it to be like a burden on the player but
Be part of the journey something the player enjoys. I want each part of the map I create to be
Intentional and to have a purpose I don’t want it to be just there. I want the player to interact in
The table top world there in I want that immersion of the world their in.
4. Closing remarks:
I’m outta time but pleased things are gradually going well. Thank you for those who are taking the time
To read and involve themselves. Thank you! This might be my last post until the first of the year! Thank you!
